Forn de Pa i Pastisseria Cardona
the Cardona Bakery and Confectionary, is a century-old family business,
founded by Pau Cardona Rigol in 1885, initially to bake and sell bread.
The company began making cakes
in 1942, at the hands of the founder's grandson, Josep Cardona Cañellas and
his wife Asumpció Bonsfills. It is currently run by Josep Cardona Bonsfills
and his wife Mª Teresa Alari. Their sons, Sergi and Marc, who also work in
the business, are fifth-generation Cardonas.
Right from the start Forn de Pa i Pastisseria Cardona has used Quality and
Service as its benchmarks. The careful selection of the raw ingredients,
traditional hand-baking and personal service have led its clients to reward
it by coming back time and time again.
The company is in constant evolution and now offers a complete catering
service for all kinds of events: birthday parties, wedding receptions,
christenings, trade fairs, conventions, etc.

The company has always been based in the village of Corbera de Llobregat.
Cal Forner, as it is still known, has evolved at the same rate as the
village. Both the number of establishments and their decoration and design
are in line with Cardona's century-old philosophy.
